The death toll in China's major earthquake increased by three to 69,019 as of Monday noon, the State Council Information Office said.

A total of 373,573 people were injured and 18,627 others were still missing in the 8.0-magnitude quake that jolted southwest China's Sichuan Province and some other areas on May 12.
