China to Issue 25.4 Bln Yuan in Treasury Bonds at 2.9%

China will issue the 25th batch of book-entry treasury bonds worth 25.37 billion yuan (US$3.71 billion) for this year starting next Monday, according to the Ministry of Finance.

The ministry said in a statement on Friday the issue period would last from December 15 to 17. The ten-year bonds have a fixed yield of 2.9 percent.

Interest will be calculated from December 15 and be paid twice a year on every June 15 and December 15. Principal will be paid on December 15, 2018 along with the last interest.

China has issued more than 1 trillion yuan worth of book-entry T-bonds this year.
