China Issues US$3.5 Bln Book-entry T-bonds

China's Ministry of Finance (MOF) on Thursday announced to launch the 21st batch of book-entry treasury bonds for this year with a total value of 24 billion yuan (US$3.51 billion).

The ministry said the issue would last from November 13 to 17.

The three-month treasury bonds, with a par value of 100 yuan, would sell for 99.515 yuan each, carrying an annual yield of 2.02 percent. Interest would be calculated from November 13.

The issue will bring China's book-entry T-bonds this year to nearly 1 trillion yuan.
