Flora is a 13-year-old girl living with her 9-year-old sister Valentina and their parents in Purkersdorf. Their father Georg Mayer is a designer and their mother Silvia Mayer is a teacher in a middle school in Vienna. Parents are the most important people for them, who take good care of their lives, encourage them and comfort them when they are sad. As for Flora, parents are the only persons who can understand her in the world. The Mayers hope that they would be the totally reliable for their daughters when they have any difficulty or problems. The couple love kinds of sports, which exerted great influence on their daughters, who are all big fan of outdoor activities. The two girls go sports camping and swimming in the lake behind their houses in every summer. They also spend their summer vacation traveling to other countries with their parents. "Valentina is a little bit stubborn and takes everything for granted", says her father, "Flora is much better."
