A senior official of the Communist Party of China (CPC) has called for strictly following Party discipline and firmly implementing major decisions and policies issued by the central authorities.
He urged relevant central departments to seriously implement central policies on the control of market prices, the work of energy conservation and emissions reduction, the control of investment in fixed assets, the saving and efficient use of land, and control of the real estate market.

The meeting heard reports by Zhang Ping, minister in charge of the State Development and Reform Commission; Zhou Shengxian, minister of Environmental Protection; Jiang Weixin, Minister of Housing and Urban and Rural Construction, and Xu Shaoshi, Minister of Land Resources.
