Citigroup said on Wednesday it will donate US$3.9 million to an
education project aimed at helping millions of poverty-stricken
people worldwide make better financial decisions and improve their
standard of living.
At least 2 million illiterate and poorly-educated people,
including those from China, would benefit from the project, it
announced at a news conference.
Courses include budget and cash flow, debt management, savings,
financial negotiation and banking services, the group said.
