Opera Performance to Benefit the Disabled

Famous Cantonese opera artists and experienced fans including retired senior officials from Hong Kong and Guangdong will participate in a charity opera performance on Nov 19 and 20 to raise funds for the handicapped in Guangdong Province.

Some 30 renowned artists from Hong Kong and Guangdong Province will perform at the upcoming event. Cantonese opera fans including Chen Shaoji, a senior official in Guangdong Province, and Li Ziliu, former mayor of Guangzhou will also appear on stage.

The concert will benefit Guangdong's 1.20 million poverty-stricken families with handicapped family members.
