Shanghai is making life easier for disabled people.
Deaf-mutes in the city are now able to casually chat with friends
and relatives by text through fixed line telephones.
In
addition to a screen, there's a light in the specially designed
phones that flashes when there's an incoming call.
The service is offered by China Telecom.
In
addition, 50 taxis and some buses specially designed for people in
wheelchairs will be put into use later this year.
