China's Ministry of Health (MOH) reported no new confirmed or
suspected SARS cases in the 24 hours from 10 AM Monday to 10 AM
Tuesday.
The MOH also reported that the SARS patient in Beijing is in stable
condition and the one in east China's Anhui Province is continuing
to recover.
The SARS patient in Beijing, surnamed Li, is in relatively stable
condition and has reported a normal temperature for 11 straight
days, the ministry said.
Beijing's five suspected SARS patients were isolated in Ditan
Hospital for treatment and observation.
Twelve of the patient's close contacts have been removed from
medical observation, the ministry said.
The patient in Anhui, surnamed Song, is continuing to recover. All
people who had close contact with her reported no abnormal symptoms
and 36 have been removed from medical observation, the ministry
said.
The mainland has reported one confirmed and one suspected SARS case
in Anhui, and one confirmed and five suspected cases in Beijing
since April 22.
No
other provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities on the
mainland have reported confirmed or suspected SARS cases.
