Export of Poultry Products Recovers
Export of poultry products gradually recovers in China and cooked poultry products were expected to resume exports to Japan.

Officials with Administration for Quality Supervision and Inspection and Quarantine, said that it has actively enhanced foreign communication, organized delegations with Ministry of Commerce and Ministry of Agriculture to visit Japan, discussing the issues of recovering China's exports of poultry products and making the essential progress. Before which Japan had resumed import of China's exports of some products related to poultry.

Besides, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region approved the imports of poultry products from 1100 designated recorded farms, 310 registered poultry farms specially supplying to Hong Kong, 98 frozen poultry processing factories and 19 chilled poultry processing in China's mainland from March 23.

By March 16, no bird flu occurred in all recorded poultry farms engaging in exports in China. Officials expressed that they would enhance the quality control to resume China's exports of poultry products immediately.
