Forum Showcases Green Industries
If a foreign environmental protection company is interested in entering the Chinese market, then it should not miss the eighth China International Environmental Protection Exhibition and Conference.

The exhibition, which will be held in Beijing from June 5 to 8, is the largest of its kind in China and will gather major domestic environmental protection companies and be a platform for information exchanges on the industry in China.

The 30,000-square-metre display area will include an exhibition hall for traditional environmental protection fields, such as water treatment, air pollution control and solid waste treatment.

Exhibition halls will also be set up on issues such as indoor environments and environmentally friendly housing, vehicles, farming and related products, techniques and equipment.

During the exhibition, information about national policies on environmental protection and key projects during the current five-year plan (2001-2005) will be introduced to attending companies.

For the growing number of foreign environmental protection companies that attend the exhibition, it offers a chance to explore prospects in China's environmental protection industry and will hopefully help them enter the Chinese market.

The exhibition, which is held every two years, is organized by the State Environmental Protection Administration and sponsored by China Association of Environmental Protection Industry. It has become a leading exhibition of its type in China since it was first held in 1986.
