InfoDev Symposium 2002 Opens in Chongqing
The infoDev Symposium 2002 Chongqing opened at Chongqing Hilton Hotel this morning.

About 250 delegates from home and abroad attended the opening ceremony.

On behalf of the local government and people, Wu Jialong, vice major of Chongqing, expressed congratulations on the opening of the symposium.

Frannie Leautier, vice president of the World Bank, made the opening speech. Jin Liqun, vice minister of finance, Ma Songde, vice minister of science and technology and Huang Qifan, vice major of Chongqing, made the keynote speeches.

It is the first time the infoDev Symposium holds in Asia and China.
