This used to be a trading center for second-hand vehicles in Urumqi, but now it's a junk-yard to more than one-hundred cars that were damaged in Sunday's riot.

Buses, taxis, even three-wheel bicycles were targeted.

Some still have blood on them, a reminder of the fierce violence.

Ma Xinchun, spokesman of Urumqi Gov't Information Office, said, "The vehicles here are those destroyed or burnt during Sunday's riot. Other such vehicles are on the way here from the scene."

It's not only about cars and their owners, car sellers also suffer losses.

In just about two hours, rioters burned or destroyed over 50 brand-new sedans at this dealership in Urumqi.
