Premier Wen Visits Hospital, School in Mianyang

Premier Wen Jiabao visited a hospital in Mianyang, Friday morning -- for a first hand look at the reception for earthquake victims.

He spoke to patients and expressed personal wishes for a speedy recovery.

Later he stopped in to see how things are going at some newly erected tent schools. At one temporary school in Beichuan County, he offered words of encouragement. He cheered students by telling them not to lose faith but to step into the future with confidence. On the chalkboard Wen wrote, "hardships make a country stronger."
