The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and the Ministry of Finance said on Friday in a circular that they will extend employment aid to those who lost their jobs because of last week's earthquake.
The government will provide favorable employment policies for those who have become unemployed, and those who participated in the disaster relief work will get subsidies.
Enterprises that employ these people will get government subsidies and tax breaks, the circular said, without elaborating.
Public employment service institutions at all levels are being asked to collect and publish job information for such people.
People who lost jobs because of the quake could also get professional training, said the circular.
