The first batch of relief goods donated by Indonesia arrived in Chengdu, capital of quake-stricken Sichuan Province, Friday afternoon, according to China's Foreign Ministry.
The donation is part of a package of US$489,000 worth of supplies including 215 tents, six tons of food and eight tons of medicine, which are badly needed in the quake-hit area. Another shipment is expected to arrive in Chengdu on Saturday morning.
A donation of 638,500 yuan (US$92,500) worth of relief materials, mainly food and blankets, from Thai Crown Prince Maha Vajiralongkorn, arrived in Chengdu Friday.
