Chongqing Embraces Worst Floods in 115 Years

Pedestrians manage their way through a flooded street in southwest China's Chongqing Municipality July 18, 2007. Record-breaking rainstorms in 115 years lashed Chongqing, killing 32 people with 12 others missing. As many as 2.72 million people and 22 counties have been affected with a severe shortage of clean drinking water, power supplies, disturbed transportation and communications.
