Three Gorges Dam Sees Flood Peak

Flood water is discharged through 15 sluice gates on the Three Gorges Dam in Yichang, Central China's Hubei Province as the dam sees this year's first flood peak on June 20, 2007. Every second, 36,299 cubic meters of water streamed through the dam yesterday, as continuous rainfall on the upper reaches of the Yangtze River contributed to the flood.
