Tibet Will Build 4,060 Low-rent Apartments

Southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region will build 4,060 low-rent apartments in its capital, Lhasa, and six other areas this year to provide housing for low-income earners.

Lhasa will build 2,000 apartments. The rent will consist of only maintenance and management fees. Construction of the first low-rent residences is about to begin in Lhasa.
